We believe beautiful wood should never go to waste, and we're passionate about creating high-quality products that customers are proud to own and gift. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and outgoing Business Development & Sales Representative to help expand our customer base, develop wholesale partnerships, and drive revenue growth. Position Summary The Business Development & Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with wholesale and corporate clients, and increasing overall sales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, creating partnerships, and turning conversations into long-term customers. Responsibilities Identify and pursue new sales opportunities Develop relationships with retail stores, gift shops, kitchen stores, butcher shops, and home décor retailers Generate and manage wholesale accounts Prospect and secure corporate gifting opportunities Build relationships with real estate professionals, title companies, and mortgage lenders for closing gift programs Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, trade shows, and events Attend local events and trade shows to represent the company Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions Meet and exceed monthly sales goals Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends Qualifications Previous sales or business development experience preferred Strong communication and relationship-building skills Self-motivated and goal-oriented Comfortable making cold calls and reaching out to new prospects Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Ability to work independently Experience with CRM software is a plus Passion for small business growth and customer service Compensation Competitive base salary Performance bonuses available Opportunity for growth within a rapidly expanding company What Success Looks Like Opening new wholesale accounts Securing recurring corporate gift orders Growing monthly sales revenue Developing long-term customer relationships Helping establish Refined Roots as a recognized brand in the woodworking and gifting industry How to Apply Submit your resume along with a brief explanation of your sales experience and why you'd be a great fit for Refined Roots.
