Job Description:
The Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving lead volume, lead quality, and lead response across every CareCo office. Because each market depends on a steady pipeline of families reaching out for care, this role owns the systems, people, and vendor relationships that turn marketing investment into inquiries, and inquiries into scheduled care. This role both builds and grows. You will build and lead a lead response team that engages every inbound inquiry quickly, so no family waits and no lead goes cold. You will manage our digital advertising campaigns and the marketing budget behind them, and you will create go-to-market direct marketing campaigns for our office directors to execute locally in their markets. You will lead and manage a team of creative and marketing professionals, including brand managers, digital marketing specialists, and lead response coordinators, and you will manage the third-party vendors who provide SEO and related services, working to bring those services in-house as it makes sense for the business. The position demands sharp analytical judgment paired with strong people leadership. This role reports to Ownership, contributes to the culture of our HQ team, and supports our directors across every market we serve.

First Key Responsibilities:
Build and grow a lead response team that engages every inbound lead promptly, whenever it comes in. Manage digital advertising campaigns across all markets, optimizing spend to increase lead volume and lead quality. Own and manage the company's advertising and marketing budget across every office we serve. Create go-to-market direct marketing campaigns for office directors to execute in their local markets. Lead and manage a team of creative and marketing professionals, including brand managers, digital marketing specialists, and lead response coordinators. Manage third-party vendors that provide SEO services, and evaluate opportunities to bring those services in-house. Own and improve lead conversion, working with the lead response team and office directors to move a higher share of inquiries through to scheduled care. Track and report on lead volume, lead quality, lead conversion, and response-time performance across all offices. Contribute to the culture of the HQ team and provide hands-on support to directors across every market.
Required Qualifications:
Operates with the highest level of integrity. Families contact us at difficult moments, and the way we market and respond establishes the tone of the entire relationship. 2+ years in a marketing, demand generation, or sales leadership capacity is preferred. Experience in healthcare, home care, or another multi-location service business is welcome, and we will consider strong candidates whose background sits adjacent to this work. Fluent in digital advertising. Builds, interprets, and optimizes paid campaigns, and distinguishes between spend that generates qualified inquiries and spend that generates impressions. Manages a budget with discipline and accounts for the allocation and return of every dollar invested. An effective people leader. Hires, develops, and holds a team accountable to response-time and conversion standards while sustaining engagement and retention. Analytically rigorous. Works fluently in spreadsheets and reporting tools to analyze lead volume, lead quality, lead conversion, and response times, and leverages AI tools to identify and act on opportunities to optimize performance. Operates effectively in ambiguity and takes the initiative to define priorities, build processes where none exists, and move work forward without waiting for direction. A strong writer. Produces campaign copy, direct marketing materials, and internal playbooks clear enough for a local office to execute without further interpretation. Bachelor's degree required.
