Job Description
Business Development Manager (Events & Hospitality) Salt Lake City, UT (full time, onsite in Draper, UT) $80,000
- 100,000 (base + performance bonus) We're looking for someone who knows how to create opportunity—not wait for it.
Responsibilities include:
- Prospect and develop new business across corporate, venues, universities, DMCs, and large-scale events
- Build a strong pipeline through outreach, networking, and in-market presence
- Meet with decision-makers, ask smart questions, and position solutions—not just products
- Partner with our Event Designers to bring opportunities to life and close business
- Stay on top of market activity, competitors, and emerging opportunities

- 3-5+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, hospitality sales, or relationship-driven sales
- Experience in the events industry strongly preferred (event rentals, catering, venues, hospitality, DMCs, production, hotels, experiential marketing, etc.)
- Proven track record of generating new business and growing client relationships
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage follow-up, scheduling, proposals, and pipeline activity efficiently
- Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales activity and opportunity tracking
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable networking, prospecting, and representing the company at industry events and client meetings
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional presence with a polished, client-facing approach
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and accountable with strong time management skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally for meetings, site visits, networking events, and industry functions
