Operations Manager Tora Sales Group Provo, UT Job Details Full-time $20 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Zoom Territory management Door-to-door Facebook Process management Full Job Description About Tora Sales Group Tora Sales Group is a growing direct-to-consumer sales organization focused on residential fiber internet. We recruit, train, and deploy sales teams into fiber markets throughout the United States. We are currently building our operations and are looking for a motivated Sales Operations Manager who wants the opportunity to help build the company from the ground up. This is not a traditional office-only Operations Manager position. The person we hire will work directly with ownership during the startup phase to build our recruiting, onboarding, training, and deployment systems. As sales teams begin deploying, the Operations Manager will also travel with teams and oversee our sales blitzes in the field. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable leading people, and excited about helping build a growing sales organization. Position Overview The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for helping manage the day-to-day operations of Tora Sales Group. During the initial startup phase, the position will primarily work from our Utah office alongside the Owner to recruit and onboard our first sales teams and establish company systems. Once sales teams begin deploying, the Operations Manager will travel with the team on approximately 10-day sales blitzes and act as Tora's primary on-site leader. The Operations Manager will also have the opportunity to personally sell during blitzes and earn additional sales commissions on top of hourly compensation. Primary ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Hiring Manage job postings on Indeed, Facebook, and other recruiting channels Review sales representative applications Contact qualified candidates quickly Conduct initial phone interviews Coordinate and conduct group Zoom interviews Maintain an organized recruiting pipeline Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process Help Tora consistently maintain a pipeline of potential sales representatives Onboarding Coordinate background checks and drug screenings Collect required onboarding paperwork Help representatives complete provider-specific onboarding Track each candidate's onboarding progress Make sure representatives are fully cleared before deployment Maintain organized employee/contractor records Training Coordination Schedule new-representative training Help coordinate fiber product training Coordinate sales-script and objection-handling training Conduct or assist with sales roleplay Make sure representatives understand expectations before entering the field Blitz & Travel Operations Tora will operate organized sales deployments, generally lasting approximately 10 days . The Operations Manager will travel with the team and be responsible for helping manage the deployment.
Responsibilities include:
Confirming representatives are ready before departure Coordinating Airbnb/housing Coordinating rental vehicles and local transportation Confirming territories and provider availability Running daily team meetings Assigning and organizing sales territories Tracking daily sales production Helping train and coach representatives in the field Handling normal day-to-day field issues Making sure sales and installation information is properly reported Communicating daily results to ownership The Operations Manager may also personally sell during blitzes and receive additional commission for qualifying sales. Reporting & Accountability The Operations Manager will work directly with the Owner of Tora Sales Group. During startup, there will be a short daily meeting to review: Tasks completed the previous day Recruiting pipeline Representatives currently onboarding Upcoming training Blitz readiness Sales performance Problems requiring management attention Priorities for the current day We are looking for someone who can eventually take ownership of Tora's daily operations without requiring constant direction.
Compensation Base Compensation:
$25.00 per hour Approximately 30 hours per week during the initial startup phase. Additional earning opportunities will be available when traveling with sales teams, including commission on personal qualifying sales . As Tora grows, this position will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility and potentially develop into a larger Operations Director role. Travel Requirements This position is based in Utah , but regular travel will eventually be required. Tora Sales Group plans to operate approximately 10-day sales blitzes in fiber markets throughout the United States. Candidates must be comfortable traveling with sales teams and spending extended periods away from home during scheduled deployments. Why Join Tora?
