Full-Time Position Purpose The Sales & Catering Manager serves as the resort's primary revenue generator for group business, weddings, retreats, conferences, reunions, catering functions, social events, and destination experiences while providing leadership for event planning and execution. This position develops new business opportunities, maximizes occupancy and catering revenue, and collaborates across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Organizational Structure General Manager (Strategic Oversight) ↓ Assistant Hotel Manager ↓ Sales & Catering Manager ↓ Events & Wedding Manager The position works closely with the Communications & Social Media Manager, Marketing Manager, Director of Food & Beverage, Food & Beverage Manager, Executive Chef, Front Office, Recreation, Spa, Housekeeping, Engineering and Accounting teams. Essential Functions Generate group, wedding, retreat and catering business. Conduct site tours and prepare proposals and contracts. Coordinate Banquet Event Orders and event execution. Collaborate with culinary, marketing and operations teams. Maintain CRM records and sales forecasts. Represent Mountain Lake at trade shows and community events. Physical Demands Stand and walk extensively, lift up to 25 pounds, navigate uneven terrain, work indoors and outdoors, and use computers and phones regularly. Work Environment Full-time salaried leadership position requiring nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak business periods.
