If you love to build business by building relationships, we want you on our team! 360° Hotel Group is looking for an experienced salesperson to generate and nurture clients for the SpringHill and TownePlace Suites in Bellingham, WA.
Your highest priorities will include:
soliciting and generating new clients, particularly focused on group sales & meeting spaces providing account management for new and existing accounts working in conjunction with the sales & operational teams to exceed revenue goals You will know you have achieved success when you develop and execute a sales strategy that results in exceeded budgeted revenues, ADR and market share for the property. Typical hours are Monday - Friday during the day, with exact times to be set by your manager, the property Director of Sales. Times may include early mornings (breakfast receptions), early evenings (evening receptions), holidays, and/or weekends (group arrivals). Travel should be anticipated on a needed basis. Number of hours and times are subject to change. As a Sales Manager , who is part of the sales team, you must be able to connect with clients, understand their needs, and deliver solutions that exceed expectations. You must be confident, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities at once. Some experience in hotel sales, group business, and marketing is important—but most importantly, bring your creativity and passion to help grow our revenue and expand our client base. Benefits Comprehensive Health, Vision and Dental Plans (for eligible full-time employees) Vacation Time Paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law 401(k) with employer matching Paid bereavement leave Parental leave in accordance with applicable federal and Washington State laws, including PFML (based on eligibility) Rooms at discounted employee rates Additional benefits may apply; all benefits are subject to eligibility and change Responsibilities Solicit and generate new clients, focusing on group sales and meeting spaces Market and promote restaurant and banquet offerings Work closely with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure successful group events Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute outbound sales strategies Manage and grow new and existing client accounts Work with sales and operations teams to exceed revenue goals Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue, ADR, and market share Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service Monitor market trends and adjust strategies as needed Travel locally as needed to build and maintain business relationships
WHAT YOU BRING
If you are ready to be successful in this role, you will have: 3+ years of sales experience in a hotel or high-volume business (preferred) Experience with group sales, banquet events, or F&B operations Restaurant marketing experience is a plus Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships Confident, persuasive communication skills Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently and make informed decisions Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills Basic computer and systems proficiency (CRM experience such as Salesforce is a plus) Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans Other helpful characteristics could include:
