Job Description

The Reesman Company is an industry-leading landscaping team dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces that enhance the lives of our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Business Development / Account Manager to join our team focused on commercial landscape maintenance, including snow services. This role requires an individual with industry sales experience, preferably in commercial landscape maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business and managing relationships with clients throughout contract lifecycle and renewals. Key Responsibilities Drive revenue growth by aggressively prospecting, developing, and closing new commercial maintenance contracts, including industrial sites, multi-unit housing, and large-scale properties. Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, handling contract negotiations, ongoing communication, and issue resolution throughout all seasons of service. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing service delivery aligned with client expectations. Develop and cultivate lasting relationships with key players in local real estate management, property management, facilities management, and development sectors. Maintain accurate sales and client activity records in company CRM ensuring all data is accurate. Track and manage and coordinate job costs with internal teams to ensure ongoing job and contract profitability. Education Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Horticulture, Communications, Landscape Design or a related field (). Experience Experience in commercial landscape maintenance sales, and/or commercial/industrial property maintenance services. Landscape industry experience preferred but not required. Experience working with commercial and industrial clients is valued. Skills Highly motivated and able to work independently as a self-starter. Excellent aptitude to identify potential issues and problem-solve with integrity and honesty. Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with commercial clients and industry stakeholders. Drive and focus to generate new business, and establish, foster, and care for new relationships with a valuable clientele. Strong communication, , and negotiation skills. Performance Metrics Demonstrated success in generating significant new business revenue through personal planning and execution. Maintaining a client retention rate of at least 80-90% at contract renewal. Quantifiable and repeatable success selling enhancement work to new and existing clients. Why Join The Reesman Company?
