In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions efficiently while also assisting with sales and inventory management in a clothing store environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for upselling, and a passion for retail. Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, processing customer transactions. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs. Communicate effectively with customers to promote products and encourage upselling. Maintain knowledge of store promotions and sales to inform customers. Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-presented store. Handle customer inquiries over the phone with professionalism and courtesy. Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling, including balancing the register at the end of shifts. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. Experience Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales is preferred but not required. candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers. Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math is advantageous. Strong phone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly with customers are essential skills.
