Cashiers morning shift

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases or orders in a timely manner Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving change and balancing cash drawers at shift end Support food preparation activities while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards Upsell menu items or products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness of the cashier station, dining area, and food prep zones by bussing tables and cleaning as needed Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during service to uphold health regulations and safety protocols Skills Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments, especially in quick service or fast-food restaurants Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food preparation, food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen experience preferred Ability to manage time effectively during busy morning shifts while maintaining attention to detail Experience in upselling techniques to promote menu items or products effectively This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry or retail environment.
