Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases or food orders in a courteous manner Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for sales transactions Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds with precision and integrity Upsell menu items or products to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, counters, and cashier stations Support food handling procedures, including serving, bussing tables, and food safety compliance Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring quality and timely service Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and minimal wait times Requirements Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and sales calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast-food restaurant setting during evening hours Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously during peak periods Previous experience in a café, grocery store, or retail environment is advantageous This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in the food industry while providing exceptional service.
