The Concessions Worker is responsible for providing excellent guest service while preparing, selling, and serving food and beverage items at concession stands, kiosks, and portable service locations. This role supports efficient event operations by ensuring products are prepared and delivered safely, transactions are processed accurately, and guests receive a quality hospitality experience. This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00 and is tip eligible.Benefits for Part-Time roles:
401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until December 11, 2026.Responsibilities:
Greeting guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner. Prepare and serve food and beverage items according to company recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines. Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems and process transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of menu items, pricing, and promotional offerings. Stock concession stands with food, beverages, condiments, utensils, and supplies. Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of replenishment needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of concession areas, counters, and storage spaces. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures. Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-shift procedures. Verify guest identification and follow responsible alcohol service requirements when applicable. Respond to guest inquiries and resolve concerns professionally. Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory. Support event operations by maintaining efficient service during high-volume periods. Adhere to company policies, cash-handling procedures, and operational standards. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure excellent guest service. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience working in stadiums, arenas, convention centers, amusement parks, theaters, or hospitality venues is preferred. Food service or hospitality training is a plus. Basic math and cash-handling abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Food Handler or ServSafe Certification. Alcohol service certification (TIPS, LEAD, or equivalent, where applicable).Skills & Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to operate POS systems and related technology.
