Full Job Description Summary:

The cashier is expected to ensure every customer exits our store on a high note, by delivering fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience. The Cashier scans and bags items accurately and efficiently, while managing the cash register, payments and returns.

Job Duties:

Greet and acknowledge every customer Product knowledge, promotions, advertisements Merchandising and housekeeping Deliver excellent customer service at the register Process sales transactions Answer customer questions about products and services Accept payment while maintaining accountabilities Maintain adequate change in the cash drawer and request additional change Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts Report issues with equipment Other Duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to calculate sales and change quickly Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts Oriented toward helping customers Customer service skills Communication Problem solving Fast-paced environment Attention to detail Multi-task Knowledge of point of sale (POS) Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging other to do the same This position will require evening or weekend shifts based on business needs. Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 30lbs Stand for extended periods of time
