In this key customer-facing role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service while accurately processing orders and payments for our fresh Mediterranean menu. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide menu recommendations with enthusiasm. Process payments efficiently using POS systems, handling cash, credit cards, mobile payments, and gift cards. Ensure order accuracy and promptly address any questions or special requests. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and dining area throughout your shift. Support team members with light food preparation, packaging orders, and restocking supplies as needed. Upsell additional menu items, sides, and beverages to enhance the guest experience. Balance cash drawers and complete end-of-shift financial reporting with precision. Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth, timely service during busy periods. Requirements Previous experience as a cashier, server, or in a customer service role (restaurant experience preferred). Strong proficiency with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine focus on guest satisfaction. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and accurate under pressure. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a positive, team-oriented attitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
