  • Job Overview:
  • As a Cashier at Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, and your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will contribute to a positive dining experience.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide prompt and friendly service.
Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using a Point of Sale (POS) system. Ensure proper handling of cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances. Take and process food and beverage orders with attention to detail. Provide menu information, suggest additional items, and handle customer inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist in the preparation of food items as needed (if applicable). Support teamwork by collaborating with kitchen staff and fellow team members. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner. Comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is a plus. Strong numerical and cash handling skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for food and customer service is highly desirable.
