Cashier

Duties Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity Assist customers with product questions, provide product demos when needed, and upsell items to enhance their shopping experience Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an inviting store environment Manage stocking duties and assist with inventory counts to keep products readily available Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction Follow phone etiquette standards when answering customer calls or inquiries Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Supervising experience or ability to oversee team members during shifts is a plus Ability to conduct product demos confidently and effectively promote merchandise Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Basic math skills for cash register operations and retail math calculations Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management techniques Phone etiquette for professional customer interactions Sales-oriented mindset with upselling capabilities to maximize store revenue
