Duties Operate the cash register with precision, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments confidently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally. Conduct retail sales transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash drawer handling and balancing registers at shift end. Upsell complementary products and promotions to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences. Maintain effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear communication. Support merchandising efforts by arranging products attractively and ensuring accurate inventory counts through stocking activities. Demonstrate strong retail store product knowledge to advise customers confidently on various items. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Qualifications Previous experience in cashiering or retail sales is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is essential. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual environments is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations. Knowledge of retail store product offerings and merchandising techniques to assist customers effectively. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions both in person and over the phone. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during busy periods. Experience with upselling techniques to promote products confidently without pressuring customers.
