This role involves providing excellent customer service, handling transactions accurately, and supporting food preparation and service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or retail, demonstrate strong communication skills, and be committed to maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and process payments accurately. Assist in food preparation, including basic food handling and sanitation practices. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, and workstations through bussing and sanitation procedures. Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times. Support kitchen staff with basic tasks when needed, including food prep and stocking supplies. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation. Experience Previous experience in a quick service or fast-food restaurant, café, or retail environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or food industry roles is highly desirable. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math are necessary. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is a plus. Prior restaurant experience demonstrating excellent customer service skills will be valued. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and customer satisfaction are prioritized.
