Operated the Verifone point-of-sale system to process cash, credit/debit, and other payment transactions accurately. Handled cash responsibly and maintained accurate register transactions according to company procedures. Restocked and organized refrigerators, shelves, and merchandise areas to ensure products were readily available and properly displayed. Maintained a clean and organized interior, including the sales floor, checkout area, and customer-facing spaces. Wiped down and cleaned fuel pumps and maintained a clean, presentable appearance throughout the exterior of the gas station. Monitored and maintained the overall cleanliness and appearance of both the inside and outside of the property. Assisted with inventory organization and replenishment of store products as needed. Responded to customer questions and concerns professionally and handled difficult customer interactions calmly and respectfully. Worked efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and quality customer service.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working at a gas station or convenience store preferred. Previous experience with the Verifone point-of-sale system preferred; on-the-job training provided . Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to handle cash accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
