Dry Cleaning Starting Wage:

$18.00 per hour Job Description We are looking for a friendly, reliable Cashier / Front Counter Associate to join our dry cleaning business. This position is responsible for assisting customers, handling garment drop-offs and pickups, processing transactions, and keeping the front counter and finished garments organized. Previous experience at a dry cleaner is helpful but not required . We are willing to train the right person.

9:00 AM•4:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday are required. Thursday is flexible based on business needs and employee availability. Job Duties Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner Receive garments from customers for dry cleaning and other services Tag and prepare garments for cleaning Enter customer orders and garment information accurately Process cash, credit/debit card, and other customer transactions Use the computer to process orders and customer transactions Answer basic customer questions and provide helpful customer service Organize finished garments and prepare them for customer pickup Remove tags from garments after cleaning when appropriate Bag and package finished garments Locate and retrieve customer orders for pickup Keep the front counter and work area clean and organized Help maintain an orderly garment rack and pickup area Assist with basic store duties as needed Follow instructions and assist with other front-counter duties as business needs change Requirements Fluent English communication skills required Friendly and professional demeanor Strong customer service skills Reliable and punctual Basic math skills for cash transactions Comfortable using a computer to process customer transactions Able to stay organized in a busy environment Good attention to detail Previous cashier, retail or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Benefits Employee discount Work Location In person How to Apply Please submit your resume.
