Duties Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions and cash drawer management with precision. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information. Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits of store merchandise. Upsell additional products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain knowledge of Mountain Mikes menu items, service standards, and current promotions to support sales efforts. Routinely restock and clean service areas, dining areas, and restrooms. Ensure prepared items are properly labeled and replenished throughout the shift. Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers via phone calls. All team members will be cross trained to assist in different areas of restaurant operation. Qualifications Previous experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash register operations is preferred. Strong communication skills in English and bilingual capabilities are a plus. Knowledge of hospitality, upselling strategies, and Food Safety. Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. California Food Handler Card Demonstrated ability to handle cash drawer balancing, cash handling procedures, and retail transactions efficiently.
