$22.57 per hourPosition Summary:
Responsible for taking in all monies for admission, skate rentals, lessons, and sales. Serves as the point of contact for all customer questions and concerns for the facility- in tandem with the building operations team.
Shift Information:
Shift lengths vary depending on business needs and can be up to 8 hours any day and time of the week including holidays, weekends are mandatory.Essential Functions:
Provides excellent customer service and ensures that all policies are properly implemented. Answers telephones and public inquiries giving information concerning public and private sessions, Learn to Skate lessons and facility usage fee rates. Understands and explains all of Sharks Ice programs and policies. Assists Hockey and Skating Managers in accepting and processing registrations as necessary. Knows emergency procedures for equipment and evacuation plan. Ensures the overall cleanliness of the front desk and surrounding areas. Knows appropriate avenues/channels to find any unknown information. Responsible for appropriate lighting for events Responsible for starting and ending sessions at appropriate time Performs additional duties as required.Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated aptitude for working with numbers and relating to the general public. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Positive attitude, self motivated. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in a cold environment. Must clear background check with no felony convictions and a clear driving record Must be able to wear SSE assigned uniform during all shifts Must be a team player Must be able to work with people of all ages Ability to learn new skills quicklyWhat We Offer:
