BENEFITS QUESTIONS In this role you also serve as a Shift Supervisor—leading operations in the absence of the Manager and act as a role model for operational excellence You support the management team in driving sales maximizing profitability and managing operational costs by effectively overseeing daily shift activities and ensuring optimal staff and resource utilization You are empowered to make sound business decisions in real time to deliver a consistently exceptional customer experience that reflects the brand's values You'll delegate tasks deploy team members strategically and cultivate a collaborative inclusive and positive work environment where team motivation guidance and engagement thrive This position requires commitment to Cal State Fullerton's inclusion initiatives and an ability to lead by example in fostering a respectful welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and guests Essential Duties Provide exceptional and inclusive customer service while interacting with students faculty staff and campus guests Lead the daily operations of the fastfood concept including administrative tasks and general maintenance in the absence of the Store Manager Assist in training coaching and developing team members to ensure high performance and a positive team environment Demonstrate strong delegation skills in a fastpaced setting ensuring tasks are assigned appropriately and completed efficiently Effectively utilize and adjust production control systems to maintain operational flow and product consistency Oversee the preparation and presentation of fast food and beverage items ensuring quality and speed of service Operate the Point of Sale POS system and Active Cashier Mobile Orders to accurately process customer transactions Handle cash debit and credit card transactions with accuracy and accountability Support food preparation efforts as needed during highvolume periods or staffing shortages Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation across all work areas including the front of house back of house dining areas and restrooms Enforce company policies procedures and operational standards; escalate concerns or violations to the Manager Support the Manager in overseeing daily store operations and assume leadership responsibilities in their absence Continuously assess operations identify improvement opportunities and provide feedback to the Manager Monitor compliance with health safety and hygiene protocols in all areas of food service and preparation Complete all CSU and ASCmandated trainings within required timeframes Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum two years of fastfood leadership experience
