In this energetic role, you'll handle retail sales transactions, operate the cash register with precision, and provide exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every customer leaves satisfied and eager to return. This position offers a fast-paced environment where your communication skills and retail expertise will shine, helping us deliver a seamless shopping experience for all visitors. Responsibilities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process retail sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments Handle cash drawer operations with integrity, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries or demos Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised to attract shoppers Maintain knowledge of store products and assist customers in locating items or providing product demonstrations when needed Follow phone etiquette standards when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Skills Proven experience with POS systems and cash register operations in a retail or service environment Supervising experience preferred to help guide team members during shifts Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities that facilitate interactions with diverse customers Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling Knowledge of retail sales techniques such as upselling and merchandising strategies Customer service-oriented mindset with excellent phone etiquette skills Familiarity with stocking procedures, inventory management, and product demos to enhance the shopping experience This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in lively environments and are passionate about delivering top-notch service.
