We're looking for energetic and dependable team members to join our waterfront operations crew. In this role, you'll help guests get ready for paddle board and kayak adventures while supporting day-to-day beach and harbor activities. This position combines customer service, equipment handling, and outdoor recreation support in a fun, fast-paced environment. Team members may also assist with beginner paddleboard instruction and guided harbor excursions when needed. Flexible scheduling makes this a great opportunity for students, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a rewarding part-time role by the water. What You'll Do Greet visitors and provide a welcoming, positive experience Assist customers with reservations, rentals, and equipment selection Prepare and organize kayaks, paddleboards, paddles, and safety gear Explain basic water safety procedures and equipment operation Help guests safely enter and exit the water Maintain clean, organized rental and staging areas Support opening and closing setup of daily beach and harbor operations Transport and store equipment including kayaks and SUP boards Monitor launch zones and assist with waterfront flow and safety Lead introductory paddleboard sessions or harbor tours as assigned Share information about the local harbor environment and wildlife Respond calmly and professionally in emergency or unexpected situations Work collaboratively with team members to create a fun guest atmosphere Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Current CPR certification required Current First Aid certification required Comfortable swimming and working around open water Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 30-80 lbs Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Previous kayak or paddleboard experience is a plus but not required Why Join Us?
