Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Gas Station Attendant and Cashier, where you'll be the friendly face customers rely on for a seamless fueling and shopping experience. In this energetic role, you'll handle retail sales transactions, operate the cash register with precision, and provide exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure the convenience store runs smoothly, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, product inquiries, and store purchases Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling Manage cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-merchandised Conduct product demos when necessary to promote new or featured items Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information to customers Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and participating in stock counts Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise, are essential Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing the cash drawer Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and upselling techniques will help you succeed This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy engaging with people.
