Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments with precision and integrity Provide exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries Conduct product demos when applicable to promote features and benefits to customers Upsell items by suggesting complementary products to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented Assist with inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and product replenishment Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Requirements Prior cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base better Experience in supervising or leading small teams is advantageous but not mandatory Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced retail setting Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stock management, and retail sales techniques Join us as a Cashier and become an essential part of our vibrant team!
