We are looking for a dynamic and energetic team member who is social with customers and can support all aspects of retail operations in the gas station and convenience store business. Responsibilities Please apply only if you feel you have the qualifications to be a responsible and reliable individual, and are looking to be active for the entirety of your shift. Greet every customer who walks into the store with a smile Willing to answer questions, provide information regarding promotions, and upsell new products Give valuable feedback to management from customer conversations Easily able to understand how to use the cash register and process cash and card transactions, including lotto/lottery Maintain a very clean store during your shift (bathrooms, floors, coolers, etc) Clean pumps, refill windshield wiper fluid, and maintain clean fueling area Have a proactive approach to handle any problems customers may face inside the store and outside at the pump Ensure compliance with safety regulations Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations Maintain professional communication with upper level management These are only some, not all, of the job responsibilities for day-to-day management, but we have highlighted these for any potential applicants to determine if they can uphold these responsibilities. Employees who uphold the highest standard in the store will be recommended for promotion. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
