Responsibilities Prepare a variety of menu items following established recipes and safety standards in food handling and preparation Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure compliance with health regulations Assist in menu planning by preparing ingredients and suggesting modifications based on dietary needs or customer preferences Serve customers at the cash register with friendly and prompt service, accurately handling transactions Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders Follow food safety management protocols to prevent contamination and ensure high standards of hygiene during all stages of food production Skills Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and proper food handling techniques Excellent knife skills, slicing techniques, and familiarity with recipe adherence for consistent meal quality Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting Previous restaurant or catering experience that demonstrates proficiency in meal preparation and customer service Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff and serve customers confidently Understanding of food safety principles, including proper sanitation practices and food safety management systems Join our team where your culinary talents will shine!
