Duties Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with integrity and attention to detail Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product information Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits to customers Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and well-presented Follow phone etiquette protocols when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist with inventory management tasks such as stocking shelves and conducting stock counts to ensure product availability Experience Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided Familiarity with POS systems and basic retail math for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities or team support roles Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales transactions Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, and upselling techniques will help you excel in this role Join us today and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding shopping experiences!
