As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests. Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members. Greeting guests in a friendly manner and taking food and beverage orders. Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones. Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches and pastries. Answering guest's questions about menu choices. Promoting and recommending menu options to guests. Taking payment from guests. Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs. Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized. Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service. Working to attract new guests and expanding the menu. Courteously wait on guests, make recommendations, upsell. Professionally serve food and beverages, check-in with and monitor guests' experience throughout their visit to ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with maintaining cleanliness of restaurant/kitchen to DKN Hotels' standards and all health codes at all times. Adhere to food safety requirements. Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Department Provide assistance to other team member and other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department, restaurant and hotel. Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management. Deliver DKN's "Home Away From Home" experience. Ability to provide legible written communication. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable Prolonged walking and standing. Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting and carrying. Reaching above, at and below shoulder level. Lifting and carrying unassisted up to 30 lbs. of bulk goods. Exposure to cleaning agents. Must be aware of importance of safety and security. Valid San Bernardino County Food Handler's Certificate RBS Training Pay:

$17.00 - $17.25 per hour
