Front of House / Cashier The Pita San Clemente, CA Job Details Part-time From $17 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Customer communication Full Job Description The Pita is seeking a friendly, reliable, and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our growing team. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food, and supporting daily restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner Take customer orders accurately using the POS system Process cash, credit card, and digital payments Serve food and beverages efficiently Answer customer questions regarding menu items and ingredients Maintain cleanliness of the front counter and register area Restock supplies, utensils, beverages, and condiments as needed Assist with light food preparation and packaging of takeout orders Follow food safety and sanitation procedures Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned Qualifications Previous restaurant, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required Positive attitude and strong communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds Food Handler Card (or ability to obtain one upon hire) Schedule Part-time Flexible scheduling Day, evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay Employee meal discounts Positive and team-oriented work environment
