Job Summary Join our team as a part-time Cashier and be one of the first people our customers interact with when they visit us. This role focuses on providing friendly, efficient customer service, accurately taking orders, processing payments, and helping create a positive experience for every guest. We are looking for someone energetic, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items Operate the POS system to enter orders and process transactions Handle cash, credit card, and other payments accurately Provide correct change and maintain proper cash-handling procedures Recommend and upsell menu items, promotions, and available specials Communicate customer orders clearly with kitchen staff Assist customers with questions, concerns, and order requests Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier, counter, and dining areas Assist with bussing tables and keeping customer areas clean when needed Restock front-counter supplies, utensils, napkins, and other items Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service Follow company procedures and management instructions Requirements Prior cashier, customer service, retail, restaurant, or fast-food experience is preferred Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods Strong attention to detail when taking orders and processing payments Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively with a team Ability to stand for extended periods Willingness to learn menu items, promotions, and company procedures Retail or grocery experience is helpful but not required Benefits Flexible schedule Food provided Paid training
