Responsibilities Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Handle cash drawer management with precision, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product demos when needed. Upsell merchandise and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities. Maintain knowledge of store products and merchandising to inform customers and support sales initiatives. Stock shelves, organize displays, and assist with inventory management to ensure an inviting shopping environment. Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when taking inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication. Support supervising staff during busy periods or when needed, contributing to a cohesive team environment. Experience Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential! Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Strong communication skills in bilingual settings are a plus, enabling effective interaction with diverse customers. Experience in cashiering, retail math, and basic math skills are important for accurate transactions. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and handle cash handling responsibilities confidently. Supervising experience is beneficial for those interested in leadership growth within retail environments.
