The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling cash transactions, completing daily side cleaning tasks and ensuring a tidy customer area. This role requires collaboration with team members to learn about our coffee offerings, our menu, and assist customers in making decisions. Additionally, the role's growth path includes learning to work in our kitchen and aid with speed of service, and future opportunities to learn technical Barista skills. The ideal candidate would be able to follow company recipes and procedures, while working quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide prompt service at the cash register. Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain cash handling procedures. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process orders efficiently and with accuracy Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Sanitate work areas regularly to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Able to follow company recipes accurately and produce our food menu items for incoming orders. Work diligently on side task work during down time and follow company procedures in completing tasks. Assist with cleaning, stocking and washing dishes. Complete close of business and fully cleaning customer area. Qualifications Previous experience in a quick service restaurant environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
