Cashier/Stocker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing cash transactions and maintaining stock levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Process sales through the point-of-sale system, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. Upsell products to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are displayed attractively. Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Supervise junior staff when required, providing guidance and support. Experience Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred. Strong cash handling skills and basic math proficiency. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele. A proactive approach to upselling and promoting products is a plus. Experience in supervising or training staff is advantageous but not mandatory.
