Full Time Associate Amity Wine & Spirits - Hamden Job Details Large, fast-paced Wine, Beer, & Liquor store seeking a friendly, personable associate. As a full-time associate, you will be responsible for: Providing a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service. Registering sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totaling customers' purchases. Organizing the stock room and maintaining cleanliness and order. Collecting payments by accepting cash, charging payments, and making change for cash customers. Verifying legal age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. Balancing cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift. Maintaining checkout operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. Sorting and stocking products on shelves and in the backroom. Promptly unloading trucks and deliveries. Physically receiving and storing incoming products in a timely manner. Ensuring accurate product counts. Updating product pricing labels as directed by Department Manager. Assisting coworkers as needed throughout the store. Maintain a clean and neat store appearance for our customers. Complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations. Contributing to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Other tasks and responsibilities assigned to you.
