Preferably with experience working in a Japanese restaurant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing orders, and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and requires a friendly demeanor along with strong communication skills. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Process cash and credit transactions using a cash register. Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the order-taking area. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling. Skills Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards. Strong communication skills with the ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities.
