Job Summary:
As a Cashier at Bean by Bardea, you'll be the friendly face behind the counter, taking orders, engaging with guests, and helping to deliver a smooth, enjoyable experience from start to finish. You'll be responsible for working the register, handling payments, and assisting with basic drink prep and pastry service. If you love coffee, people, and starting the day with good energy, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet every guest with a smile and positive attitude Take and process orders accurately using the POS system Answer questions about the menu, specials, and products Handle payments with accuracy (cash and card) Serve pastries and case food items with proper handling and presentation Assist with prepping grab-and-go items and maintaining food displays Maintain a clean and organized counter and guest area Restock coffee bar supplies, cups, condiments, and utensils as needed Support baristas and kitchen team during busy periods Uphold cleanliness, health code, and DECO Food Hall standards
Qualifications:
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred Friendly and engaging personality with strong communication skills Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask Dependable, punctual, and a team player Basic math and cash handling skills Passion for coffee and interest in learning more about beverages and service Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
