Aventura, FL Job Details Seasonal 3 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Computer skills POS systems Full Job Description Scope of Position The primary focus of the Food Truck Cashier is to provide outstanding service to guests in a fast-paced, luxury brand-inspired hotel environment where attention to detail is key. He/She will be working in a Kosher Food Truck. He/she will also possess a limitless desire to attain the highest levels of quality and cleanliness in all areas of the Food and Beverage Operations. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices, and procedures. Position Requirements Professional demeanor appropriate for a Kosher Food Truck environment. Must be able to work in a Kosher Food Truck. Previous food and beverage experience in a luxury hotel environment is a plus. Basic computer knowledge (Micros or other POS systems). Outstanding and professional guest service skills. A food handling certificate is an asset. Excellent eye for detail and the ability to multi-task. Must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol according to state law. Responsibilities Greet and acknowledge each guest promptly in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome. Take and input orders into the POS system, receive payment, and complete required transactions. Expedite the order in an accurate and timely manner. Prepare and serve food and beverage items to guests. Perform all opening and closing duties based on shift assignment. Refill and stock all supplies and machines within the outlet. Maintain the cleanliness of the front and back of the house areas within the outlet. Assist guests with needs and inquiries. Know the Kosher Food Truck and location of all equipment and supplies. Willingness to learn kosher guidelines Know the ingredients, preparation, and proper presentation of all menu items and specials. Observe and take note of dirty and occupied tables. Perform side work assigned by management. Know and implement standards/procedures of service for guests. Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. Education High school diploma or GED. OR Previous experience working in a similar resort setting. Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate in the English language. A second language is a plus. Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks. Knowledge of basic food handling policies and procedures as well as the techniques and equipment for preparing and presenting food products for consumption, including storage/handling techniques, proper chemical handling, and sanitation standards. Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with elevated temperatures Must be physically fit to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds. Also requires reaching overhead/standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout the shift.
