X-Mart Boutique is seeking sales clerks/cashiers. This store sells Adult related material Hiring Someone who has OPEN availability to be scheduled for either shift times of 8am-4pm & 4pm-12am (will be mostly 4pm-12am)

X-Mart Boutique is seeking sales clerks/cashiers.

• Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have valid proof of work eligibility in the United States

• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND OWN RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION

• Job overview: sell and assist customers with choosing various adult products; keep store clean and organized; provide customer service and product advice.

Some job responsibilities include:

• Sell products using computerized register
• Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment
• Accept payments and provide correct change
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
• Test and demonstrate merchandise functionality
• Bag purchases
• Greet customers and ascertain each customer wants or needs
• Engage customers in conversation and answer questions about various products to promote sales
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain shift records related to sales
• Recommend, select, and help customers locate or obtain merchandise
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
• Perform shift maintenance tasks consisting of keeping the register clean and organized, store products organized, stock shelf and counter with merchandise (no heavy lifting), clean shelves, counters, floor, windows, and keeping store clean
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations
• Any other duty or responsibility assigned by management Candidates must possess the following skills:
• General computer knowledge
• Be a quick learner
• Be open minded, friendly, polite, and courteous to customers
• Be able to handle demanding customers
• Be able to talk and advise customers on adult related materials
• Be punctual and responsible
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to follow directions, policies, and procedures
• Must be available for 8AM-4PM, 2PM-10PM, 4PM to 12AM, 7 days a week
• Look and dress according to socially acceptable norms Education required:
• High school or GED Experience required:
• Any retail experience is a plus but not required

Compensation:

• We start at $14.00 per hour for the probationary period of 90 days.
• After introductory period compensation is raised according to performance
• Weekly pay.

All applicants undergo criminal background check. We are located at 2591 W International Speedway Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Be prepared for a possible impromptu interview. Must have ID to enter the store.
