Smoke Shop Cashier

Overview We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional customer service while accurately processing transactions. Your role will involve handling cash, operating the POS system, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Accurately process customer transactions using the POS system. Handle cash and credit transactions with precision. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and upsell products to enhance customer experience. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked. Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions effectively. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls. Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or cashier role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers. Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems. Basic knowledge of retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Ability to upsell products effectively to maximize sales opportunities.
