Do you love fishing and enjoy working with people? Bar Jack Fishing is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivatedPart-Time Bait Shop Cashier to join our team! This is a great opportunity for a someone looking to work in a fun, fast-paced environment surrounded by the fishing community. Pay & Perks $15.00 per hour
Bonus:
Earn free fishing trips each week on your days off based on hours worked and performance. Employee discounts on bait, tackle, and merchandise. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service. Operate the cash register and accurately handle cash and credit card transactions. Stock bait, tackle, drinks, snacks, and other retail merchandise. Spool fishing line onto customer reels. Keep the shop clean, organized, and well-stocked. Answer basic questions about local fishing conditions, bait, and tackle. Assist customers in selecting the right bait and gear for their trip. Qualifications Passion for fishing, especially saltwater fishing. Knowledge of local bait and tackle is a plus. Experience spooling fishing line (or willingness to learn quickly). Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable handling money and making accurate transactions. Dependable, honest, and able to work independently. Able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred. We're Looking For Someone Who Loves talking fishing. Enjoys helping customers have a great experience. Takes pride in keeping the shop organized and running smoothly. Wants to be part of a local business that shares a passion for the water.
