Full-Time Bakery Front End Associate The Sweet Spot Desserts & Cake Supplies is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated Front End Associate to become the face of our bakery. This position is much more than operating a cash register. We are looking for someone with a big personality who loves interacting with customers, making recommendations, increasing sales through suggestive selling, and creating an unforgettable customer experience. If you are shy, prefer minimal customer interaction, or need constant direction to stay productive, this is not the position for you.

Pay:

Starting at $15.00 per hour Starting pay will be based on experience, reliability, performance, and overall fit.

REQUIRED SCHEDULE

Wednesday•

Saturday:

10:45 AM•6:15

PMSunday:

11:45 AM•6:15 PM Applicants must be available to work all required shifts. Please do not apply if these hours do not work for your schedule.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and engage every customer who enters the bakery Provide exceptional customer service and build customer relationships Confidently recommend products and upsell additional items Learn and communicate product knowledge, flavors, and daily specials Answer phones and assist customers with placing orders Process transactions accurately and efficiently Package products professionally and accurately Keep display cases stocked, organized, and visually appealing throughout the day Maintain cleanliness of the bakery, customer areas, and workstations Restock inventory and supplies as needed Follow all food safety and sanitation standards Assist with opening and closing procedures Stay productive during slower periods by identifying tasks that need attention

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills Friendly, outgoing, and confident personality Excellent communication skills Sales and upselling experience preferred Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Dependable attendance and punctuality Reliable transportation Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
