Duties Operate cash registers using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and perform cash drawer balancing at the end of each shift Assist customers with orders, provide customers assistance when applicable Maintain knowledge of store products, promotions, and standards to support sales efforts Clean countertops, organize displays, and ensure the order area is clean and inviting Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or questions Support inventory management by stocking condiments and assisting with stock counts as needed Qualifications Previous cashiering experience in service, retail, or grocery store environment is preferred Strong knowledge of POS systems, and cash register operations Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a fast paced setting is advantageous Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for cash handling and sales processing Knowledge of restaurant procedures, merchandising, and product knowledge enhances performance Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette Join our team to deliver outstanding service while developing your customer service expertise!
