In this energetic role, you'll serve delicious ice cream treats with a smile, manage food and cash transactions efficiently, and maintain a clean, inviting workspace. Your positive attitude and quick service will help us deliver the best possible experience in a lively, fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your food industry skills while spreading joy through sweet treats! Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately. Scoop ice cream with precision, ensuring consistent portion sizes and presentation standards. Manage food handling duties safely, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times. Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing counters, utensils, and equipment throughout your shift. Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments efficiently, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift. Requirements Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential. Strong time management skills to serve customers quickly during busy periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Food safety knowledge or previous food handling experience is highly desirable.
