Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently by receiving deliveries, organizing products, and maintaining accurate inventory levels Operate cash registers using POS (Point of Sale) systems to process sales transactions quickly and accurately Assist customers with product inquiries, provide product demos when applicable, and promote upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, handle cash drawer operations with precision, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are properly labeled and stocked according to store standards Communicate effectively with team members and customers using excellent phone etiquette and clear verbal skills Assist in inventory counts, stock replenishment, and ensuring the store's overall product knowledge is up-to-date for better customer assistance Experience Previous retail experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments involving stocking and cashier duties Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or during busy periods Familiarity with POS systems, retail math calculations, and cash register operations is highly desirable Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette will help foster positive customer interactions Experience conducting product demos or upselling can enhance sales performance Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales transactions will support your success in this role This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within a fast-paced retail environment.
