Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong desire to help customers find the products they need. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers in a grocery store environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures. Maintain the sales floor by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring that products are well-presented. Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks. Utilize basic math skills to process transactions and provide change accurately. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive shopping experience. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. Proficiency in basic math skills for cash handling and retail math tasks. Ability to operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
