About Us:
Bottom of the Bin is a secondhand art and craft supplies store dedicated to creativity, sustainability, and community. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Part-Time Keyholder and Cashier/Inventory Specialist to join our fast-paced and fun team.
Position Overview:
As a part time Keyholder (8+ hours per week), you'll be responsible for opening and closing alone, cashiering, customer service, assessing trade-ins, entering customer information into our database, inventory management, and keeping the store clean and organized. This is a face-paced position with little downtime. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves art, crafting, and making a difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities:
Open and Close the store alone. Operate the cash register to assist customers with purchases. Help customers with trade-ins by assessing the value of items and entering their information into our database Assist customers and answer questions in a friendly and efficient manner, including offering art and crafting advice. Price, process, photograph, organize, and restock inventory. Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, including displays, workspaces, and common areas. Prepare the store for special sales and community events.
Requirements:
8+ hours per week between the hours of 9:45am to 6:15pm (Closed Mondays). Open availability, including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Able to commute to Brandon, FL 33511. Must be 18 years or older with your own reliable vehicle. Able to lift heavy bins of inventory and be on your feet all day. Reliable, quick learner, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Self sufficient, great problem solver, and ability to work alone. Experience in retail, customer service, or inventory management is a plus. Basic knowledge of art and craft supplies.
Compensation:
