As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. Your responsibilities will include handling cash, operating the cash register, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for our customers. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoy interacting with people. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed. Accurately process customer transactions using the cash register and POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area. Assist in stocking shelves and keeping the store well-presented. Perform basic retail math calculations to ensure accurate cash handling. Experience Previous experience as a Cashier or in a retail sales environment is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating a cash register or POS system is essential. Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge of stock management and product displays can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
