We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Cashier to join our food stall team. You will be the face of our business, responsible for taking orders, handling payments, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Experience in food service is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are most important. Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and take food/drink orders accurately Operate the POS (point-of-sale) system or cash register Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments securely Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions Pack orders and coordinate with kitchen staff for timely delivery Keep the counter, dining area, and payment station clean and organized Restock utensils, napkins, condiments, and takeaway containers as needed Assist with basic food prep or beverage station duties during busy times Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and calmnes Requirements Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred (but not required) Ability to work in a fast-paced, standing environment Strong communication and people skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one (if required locally) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (supplies, boxes, etc.) What We Offer Competitive hourly wage + tips (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Staff meal discounts Friendly and supportive team culture Opportunities for growth (e.g., shift lead, assistant manager)
